Westlife Mark: Brian's not in touch

Westlife's Mark Feehily has blamed the time difference in Australia for former member Brian McFadden's lack of contact with the band.

Mark, 29, said: "Brian's living in Australia at the moment with Delta (Goodrem) and he's kind of carving himself his own career out there.

"I haven't seen or heard much from him really but it's a different time zone and different part of the world so that's to be expected."

Brian McFadden should stick to singing, not poker

FORMER boy-band member Brian McFadden should stick to music, not poker, after his eventful turn at the tables yesterday.

Delta Goodrem's other half, who was taking part in the Shane Warne Celebrity Bounty in Melbourne's Crown Poker Room, was off to a bad start after missing his flight out of Sydney.

McFadden arrived at the tournament two hours late and lasted just two hands before being bundled out of the game.

Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden move to Woolloomooloo

DELTA Goodrem and fiance Brian McFadden have evidently tired of the ever-present paparazzi at their trendy Woolloomooloo apartment and gone across the harbour.

TIRED of the ever-present paparazzi perched on their doorstep -- although not of the local nosheries across the way -- Delta Goodrem and fiance Brian McFadden have packed up their fashionable apartment in Sydney's trendy Woolloomooloo.

A removalist truck spent all day outside the couple's unit packing up the contents of their place on Wednesday, while McFadden surveyed the scene from a cafe across the street.

It is believed they rented a house in harbourside Hunters Hill some weeks ago and are now shopping for the perfect home to call their own.

While a source close to the couple said they were seeking some much-needed privacy, no doubt the strict "no pets" policy enforced at the expensive complex has also motivated them to find a big back yard for their young pups Aspen and Vail.

Goodrem bought the Woolloomooloo apartment in 2003 and has decided to keep it as an investment property.

The couple revealed at the weekend that they have delayed their planned Christmas wedding.

McFadden hails new Soccer TV series

Brian McFadden says the second series of Football Superstar is set to unearth better talent than last year's TV show.

The Irish host says viewers will be amazed by some of the contenders when the reality style TV show, which aims to find the country's next big soccer talent, returns next week .

"(The talent) is much better this year because there is a wider awareness of the show," McFadden told AAP on Friday.

He said the 50 finalists were all on par, if not better, than last year's contestants who made the final week. This season the show is based in Melbourne, with the winner of the eight-part series to score a contract with A-League team Melbourne Victory.

Last year's winner Adam Hett clinched a place with Sydney FC's youth squad, but injury prevented him from progressing.

Melbourne Victory coach Ernie Merrick acts as the head judge in the competition, with 15 finalists eventually whittled down to one winner. McFadden is joined by a new host in sports presenter Lee Furlong - who replaces dumped presenter and former Matilda's player Amy Taylor.

McFadden says he and Furlong have a great dynamic.

"She is very cool," McFadden said,.

"It is great having someone you can have a laugh with."

McFadden invited controversy with an apparent dig at Taylor at last month's ASTRA Awards when he said, of Furlong, "she has a brain".

And despite reports that Taylor is upset and considering legal action, McFadden wasn't too phased.

"She can say whatever she likes," he said.

The singer and fiance of Australian songbird Delta Goodrem added he felt like more of a natural for this year's show.

"I do feel a lot more comfortable for this show," he said.

But McFadden admitted he had been less involved in the process, with his job more to "hang out with the guys".

Football Superstar series two premieres on May 27, on pay TV station Fox 8.

Brian's happy to see our girls on my show - Kerry

BRIAN McFadden has not banned his two young daughters from featuring on his ex-wife Kerry Katona's warts-and- all reality TV show.

Kerry's agent has told the Herald that no such dispute ever occurred, despite reports that Brian was livid about Molly (7) and Lilly-Sue (6) appearing on the MTV show.

Last year, it was reported that Artane native Brian was furious when Kerry began filming her first MTV series Crazy in Love.

The former Westlife singer was said to have attempted to ban his daughters from being featured in the programme.

However, a spokesperson for Kerry today denied that there was any such ban in place and claimed there was no issue with Molly (7) and Lilly-Sue (6) appearing in the current show What's The Problem.

"There is no ban in place and there never has been," the spokesperson said.

A representative of MTV told the Herald they could not comment as they knew nothing about the issue and it was "a private family matter."

DELTA Goodrem and her fiance Brian McFadden have postponed their planned Christmas wedding, citing "increased work commitments".

McFadden, who is currently in Melbourne filming the new series of Football Superstar, said the couple was now looking at new possible dates in early 2010.

"We sat down to try and organise the wedding and we were thinking we're never going to get this wedding organised by Christmas," McFadden said.

Brian McFadden, you can't fool Confidential

THE Twitter world has become a celebrity hangout but it's exposing their true selves and shows some have too much time on their hands.

And it's driving publicists mad, with predictions a star-who-cried-wolf disaster is imminent.

Take twits Brian McNugget - aka Delta Goodrem's partner Brian McFadden - and Jackie O, who tried to prank Sydney Confidential on Thursday.

They failed but targeted another victim in Ian "Dicko" Dickson, who was soon being bombarded with calls asking why he was sacked from Australian Idol - when he wasn't.

It began when we received a call from a woman saying she'd just seen a blind drunk McFadden staggering outside a Woolloomooloo school wearing only underpants. Knowing he is a prolific Twitterer, we checked to see where he was - and found these postings proving he was trying to set us up.

He backed off, then asked Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O's page - although it was only the latter Twittering - to help come up with a new prank. Soon a rumour was bouncing between them and all their followers that Dicko had been sacked from Idol after a fall-out with Sandilands last week.

Melbourne comedian and NOVA host Dave Hughes fell for it, expressing concern for his Vega colleague. Hughes soon learnt it was a prank and posted the news - with McFadden replying that Hughes was "an idiot" for ruining the prank.

McFadden calmed down with more laid-back postings but was ordered by his manager to delete the posting attempting to prank us - which he did.

Such postings are, after all, a potential legal minefield.

"It's becoming ridiculous and some celebrity is soon going to get badly burnt," one senior publicist said yesterday.

"The truth is many of them need us as a buffer between their private lives and public ones, because there can be a big difference between the two."

Katona: 'Brian Does Not Want Custody'

Kerry Katona has reportedly supported Brian McFadden's claim that he does not want custody of their two daughters.

The former Atomic Kitten is said to have told pals that if McFadden sought full access to seven-year-old Molly and six-year-old Lilly-Sue, he would not have moved to Australia.

"She reckons if he's that concerned about them he wouldn't be living on the other side of the world," Now quotes a source as saying.

Legal expert Denise Lester commented that McFadden would not find gaining custody an easy process.

"Despite Kerry's apparent problems, the courts wouldn't want to upset the kids' routine. The decision over custody would be based on the children's welfare and uprooting them could upset them further emotionally," she said.

McFadden recently denied rumours that he is involved in a new custody dispute following Katona's controversial appearance on This Morning.

Katona, McFadden Avoid Egan Wedding

Kerry Katona and Brian McFadden missed Kian Egan's wedding to avoid a showdown at the ceremony, it has been claimed.

Westlife star Egan tied the knot with actress Jodi Albert at the Sandy Lane resort in Barbados yesterday.

It is believed that the couple invited both Katona and McFadden to their big day, but each rejected their invitation because they feared the other would attend.

Katona split from McFadden in 2004 following two years of marriage. She has since tied the knot with new partner Mark Croft.

A source told the Daily Star: "Brian and Kian still remained close even after Brian left Westlife five years ago. So Kian was hurt that his pal couldn't make their wedding.

"Kerry was also a big part of their lives and their absence was the only blip in an otherwise idyllic day."

A spokesperson for Egan commented: "He and Brian are still friends. Brian lives in Australia and Kian understands that he is on the other side of the world."

McFadden is expected to marry his new fiancée Delta Goodrem at Christmas.

Brian & Delta Go In The Wed; Couple To Marry On The Cheap At Christmas

POP star Delta Goodrem will be credit-crunching all the way down the aisle when she marries fiance Brian McFadden.

The Aussie babe will cut costs by designing her own dress and singing for the guests instead of hiring a wedding band.
And her former Westlife hubbyto-be Brian has finally set a date and revealed: "We'll get hitched this Christmas."

Brian and Delta are estimated to be worth a combined fortune of EUR10million - but the couple insist they won't be going crazy on their big day and splashing out silly money on the festivities.

Delta revealed: "I will be designing my own dress and I have a few drawings already done.

"I've had offers for people to make me something and it's very flattering.

"But I enjoy designing and I have an idea of what I want myself so I will put in the drawings and get it made up.

"Brian and I will probably sing a song or two - we love performing.

"I think all our friends and family know that we just live for music so I'd say we'll hit the stage and do the whole wedding band thing. Maybe we can do a few requests - I'm sure there will be a great party atmosphere."

Brian has finally named the date after being forced to postpone their wedding plans twice since they got engaged 18 months ago.

He said: "We're looking at the end of the year, Christmas time, in Australia. During the next couple of weeks, we'll definitely be setting a date." McFadden hopes his daughters Molly and Lily-Sue by former singer wife Kerry Katona will be attending the ceremony.

A pal of the couple said: "Brian would love his girls to be there and it means the world to him.

"He's going to ask Kerry if she will let the girls travel over and be there for the big day."

Delta Goodrem to wed Brian McFadden near Christmas

DELTA Goodrem looks set for a double celebration at the end of the year with her fiance, Brian McFadden, hinting the pair will marry in December.

"We're looking at the end of the year, Christmas time, in Australia," McFadden said in Ireland this week.

"During the next couple of weeks, we'll definitely be setting a date."

The pair have been engaged for more than a year.

McFadden has two daughters, Molly and Lily-Sue, to former wife Kerry Katona.

The singer arrived back in Australia yesterday morning and quickly caught up with Goodrem.

Goodrem became the proud owner of two tiny puppies this week and introduced the cute-as-pie balls of fluff to McFadden over breakfast.

The couple were totally absorbed by their new pups called Vail and Aspen, named after Goodrem's favourite ski fields, as they strolled around Sydney yesterday.

McFadden: 'I'm A Household Name In Oz'

Brian McFadden has claimed that he is now a household name in Australia.

The former Westlife singer recently returned home to Ireland for a short visit after spending most of his time down under over the past twelve months.

"I'm mainly back to see my daughters, as I haven't been with them since Christmas," McFadden told the Irish Independent.

"I had them over last weekend and they'll be coming over next weekend. It's great to spend some time with them. Until they come back, I'm spending some time with my parents here."

Last year, McFadden released his second solo album Set In Stone in Australia and tried his hand at TV presenting. More recently, he was a support act for his fiancée Delta Goodrem on tour.

He added: "Sure, I miss everybody over here, but things are going really well for me in Australia. My album went gold down there and was in the top five in the charts.

"I've actually spent the last year in Australia. I even had my own football TV show there. I suppose I now am a household name there, especially after the TV show and touring with Delta."

McFadden's ex-wife Kerry Katona recently confirmed that she is planning to divorce her second husband Mark Croft.

McFadden returns from Down Under

Down across the Liffey in the Morrison Hotel at the Peter Werth fashion show, The Diary bumped into returned exile Brian McFadden, who is home from Australia for a few weeks. He said: "I'm mainly back to see my daughters, as I haven't been with them since Christmas. I had them over last weekend and they'll be coming over next weekend. It's great to spend some time with them.

"Until they come back, I'm spending some time with my parents here. Sure, I miss everybody over here, but things are going really well for me in Australia. My album went gold down there and was in the top five in the charts. I've actually spent the last year in Australia. I even had my own football TV show there. I suppose I now am a household name there, especially after the TV show and touring with Delta (Goodrem)."

Brian was lured to the reception by old pal Damien Meehan, who is the Irish agent for menswear designers Peter Werth. The pair have known each other since they were teenagers and used to play soccer together. Damien said: "The brand is going for 30 years, this is something of a re-launch as well as the unveiling of the new season's designs."

And Franklin, the South African band that Brian brought to Ireland, turned up to perform at the event. They have disbanded, with singer Gavin Edwards going solo, but got back together as their old gaffer was back in town.

Brian Flies In To Boost Ffashion Show

Guests at the Peter Werth men's fashion show got a pleasant surprise when former Westlife crooner Brian McFadden turned up to show his support.

The Dublin native, a close friend of the designer, jetted home six days ago from his Australian base to catch up with family and friends, and revealed he will be staying around for the next two weeks.

The singer was flying solo on this visit home last night, with fiancee Delta Goodrem remaining in Australia due to work commitments.

But while Brian may have plenty of boys' nights out ahead of him here, he insisted that he was loving his life down under with Delta and has never been happier.

Raved

"Australia's great," he raved, before adding that, "Delta's at home. We're fine."

However, the reticent singer was determined to speak out on one issue and set the record straight about some of the reports in the media since he left Ireland, insisting he regularly reads stories about himself that aren't true.

Visibly frustrated by the inaccuracies, he said he's still concentrating on his solo career and has not ditched singing in favour of radio presenting.

"I'm not working on the radio at all," he told the Herald. "Basically, I was just helping out and filling in for two weeks and the next thing I know I'm supposedly working there full time.

"I'm still very much working on my music career and I'll be releasing my next album soon," he added.

Last year the ex-Westlife star released his second pop album, Set in Stone, which took him more than four years to make.

He's currently working on his third and forth albums simultaneously, claiming that he'd rather do it that way so he can have more holiday time.

I'm Not Irish: Brian Ditches His Roots & Vows To Be 100% Aussie

FIRST he dumped his loyal bandmates, now Brian McFadden has jilted his own country.

The singer, 28, caused a sensation when he quit Westlife five years ago as the band prepared to embark on a record-breaking tour.
Now the controversial star has revealed he is "100 per cent Australian" after putting down roots there with fiancee Delta Goodrem.

Brian, who once famously claimed to the Irish Daily Mirror he was the "most hated man in Ireland", said he has no regrets about leaving his home country.

He added: "I feel totally 100 per cent Australian now.

"The people, the way of life, the culture - it's who I am. I don't feel that Ireland is my home.

My home is Australia and to me I'm Australian."

Brian quit Ireland four years ago when he split from his exwife Kerry Katona.

He set up home in London for a year as he tried to launch a solo career then moved to Australia when he fell in love with Aussie pop star Delta Goodrem.

During their bitter divorce Kerry - mother of his daughters Molly, seven, and Lilly Sue who is six today - slammed Brian for moving away and claimed: "He is a disgrace - he's moved to Australia and hardly sees his girls any more."

But Brian hit back, saying: "Kerry makes it nearly impossible for me to see my kids. She blocks my phone calls and keeps going back on the arrangements I made to see them."

The Dubliner now enjoys his own radio show in Australia and is supporting Delta on her latest tour.

He added: "It's a much more laid-back way of life for me here. I'm very happy. "Delta and I have a lovely home and we have a great quality of life."

Delta Goodrem's Adelaide Entertainment Centre review

Joining Goodrem on tour was her fiance and seemingly part-time comedian, Irish singer Brian McFadden. The couple performed their duet Almost Here as well as rock 'n' roll classic Do you Love Me?, complete with "mashed potato" actions.

That's not where the "interactive dance" moves finished. Her Billie Jean-inspired routine would almost qualify her for So You Think You Can Dance.

Back-Up Brian Forced To Play Second Fiddle To Diva Delta

When Brian McFadden's fiancee Delta Goodrem invited him to appear as special guest on her national tour of Australia, it promised to be a welcome boost for his singing career.

But the opening shows left fans in no doubt as to who was the diva and who was just lucky to be there at all.

The former Westlife star appeared on a high stool outside the main stage curtain, with just his acoustic guitar for company, casually dressed in jeans, T-shirt and waistcoat.

Looking every inch like the evening entertainment in just about any pub in the country, Brian filled about 15 minutes with three songs, delivered in what critics described as a "low-key" fashion.

Then, the curtain swished back to reveal the true star of the show in all her pop princess glory. Delta, Brian's fiancee since November 2007, made her debut appearance in a sparkly, sequinned dress and head dress, dancing and prancing all around the stage for her screaming fans.

Pop

The letters D.E.L.T.A were spelled out in bright lights in front of the grand piano. Looking every inch the pop sophisticate, Delta regularly changed from one formal gown to another throughout the set.

Delta is massive in Australia, where her three albums have all gone platinum; while Brian's hit single 'Like Only A Woman Can' is certified gold.

He has enjoyed moderate success Down Under, with his solo album 'Set in Stone' holding the Top 5 album position on the official ARIA Albums Chart.

After announcing plans to perform together on Delta's first national tour in three years, Brian said "I'm very much looking forward to the tour with Delta. Performing is what we love to do and being on the road and touring together makes it even more special."

Many of the 14 dates for the concert, which ends in Sydney on February 4, are already sold out.

During the show, the highlight for Brian was when he performed with his wife-to-be, singing their duet 'Almost There'. Perhaps he hopes he is.

McFadden Daughters Itching For The Stage

There could well be a new generation of the McFadden family heading for the stage from what we hear. While Brian spent the festive season in Australia with fiancee Delta Goodrem, and Kerry Katona was in Warrington, Cheshire, their daughters Molly and Lily Sue were in Dublin staying with their grandparents Mairead and Brendan.

And according to Brian's sister Susan, the girls have show business in their blood and can't stop watching High School Musical on DVD in Mairead's Artane home. They also went to see her perform twice in the Aladdin panto in the Olympia Theatre over Christmas.

Both Susan and brother Brian attended the famous Billie Barry stage school in Dublin, going on to achieve major success. And Susan can see Molly and Lilly Sue wanting to follow in their footsteps, especially as their mum, Kerry Katona, was also once a member of successful pop group Atomic Kitten.

Susan is now toying with the idea of setting up her own stage school. With this in mind, she is holding a special West End Masterclass today at Spin Dance Studios on the Longmile Road.

Susan won the female lead role in a West End production of Grease after winning the Grease Is The Word TV spectacular. When she returns to the UK this month, she will tour with the Seven Brides for Seven Brothers musical.

McFadden 'Dumps' Katona Designer Gear

Brian McFadden has revealed that he gave away all of Kerry Katona's clothes to his relatives.

The former Westlife singer admitted that he got rid of all of Katona's designer gear by giving it to members of his family.

"I invited all my sisters' friends and all my cousins around to the house and literally opened up the wardrobe and said, 'Have what you like'," he said on his Fox FM breakfast show.

"All my cousins, they live down in the country in Ireland so they live on farms and stuff, are all walking around small villages in Dolce & Gabbana dresses and Gucci shoes and the like.

"She [Katona] did not know, but she knows now."

McFadden recently denied claims that he will seek custody of his daughters Molly, seven, and six-year-old Lilly-Sue.

FORMER Westlife star Brian McFadden rang in the New Year at a €26,000 dinner party, thrown by his fianceè Delta Goodrem.

Brian & Australian babe Delta welcomed in 2009 in high style by inviting a group of 18 close friends to join them at top Sydney restaurant, Austral.

The loving couple took over the private dining area - a glass panelled room with spectular harbour views from where to watch the dramatic fireworks display.

Chef, Sean Connolly, created a mouth-watering eight course tasting menu, all washed down by cases of Dom Perignon.

The couple plan to marry later this year after they travel Australia on Delta's national tour.

Frock off Kerry ; EXCLUSIVE BRIAN GIVES AWAY HIS EX'S DESIGNER GEAR

BRIAN McFadden has revealed he binned all his memories of ex Kerry Katona - by giving her designer clothes away.

The couple fought out a bitter s10million battle over his riches after they split in 2004. But Brian, 28, said he had the last laugh - by giving all her best designer outfits away.
The former Westlife star, who is engaged to Aussie singer Delta Goodrem, admitted: "I invited cousins and friends around to the house opened up the wardrobe and said, 'Have what you like'.

"A lot of them live in the country on farms and stuff. So now they are all walking around small villages in Dolce & Gabbana dresses and Gucci shoes. Kerry did not know, but she does now."

Kerry and Brian split after two years of marriage when their relationship collapsed amid revelations he had engaged in a sex act with a stripper on his stag night.

The couple have two daughters - Molly, seven, and four-year-old Lily Sue - but have waged a bitter war of words against each other in the press ever since.

Kerry is believed to have pocketed nearly s5million from the divorce and Brian revealed: "She got half - straight down the line.

"She got to keep one of the cars, the house, half the money - the works. I just have to draw a line under it and move on now."

Brian has now found love again with Delta, 25, and the pair announced their engagement last winter.

Brian said their marriage plans have been put on hold because she's so busy with her pop career.

He added: "We just don't have time to plan it all at the minute. So it will probably be another year before we tie the knot.

"I'm happier now than I've ever been. Delta has helped me to settle down and really appreciate life.

"We are best friends and have a lot of respect for each other and that's really the basis for our relationship. Everything grows from that."

Brian McFadden can't kick smoking habit

WHERE there's smoke there is fire for card-playing crooner Brian McFadden. Delta Goodrem's man, on the Gold Coast this weekend, has told Confidential of his unsuccessful bid to quit cigarettes, despite reports of a family ultimatum.

It was rumoured this year that McFadden's marriage to Australian singing queen Goodrem had been postponed because he couldn't quit the habit.

Goodrem's father Denis allegedly told him to give up the fags before marrying his daughter.

However, McFadden said the wedding was going ahead as planned in the new year. He said a date was yet to be set due to the demands of their careers.

``I tried (to quit smoking) for a day and it didn't work,'' said McFadden.

``I got hypnotised on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on B105 radio to try to stop.''

McFadden, who performs at Twin Towns on Sunday, also spoke about fame, life in Australia and moves to protect his two British-based daughters from negative press of their father.

McFadden's personal life continues to be splashed across the gossip pages both here and in the UK the most penned this year being a supposed custody battle for his children, his ex-wife Kerry Katona's alcohol problem and his relationship with Goodrem.

Even though the media's jabs did not bother McFadden, he told Confidential he tried to protect his daughters Molly, seven, and Lilly-Sue, six from the public sting.

``I try to keep the newspapers and magazines and things away from them,'' he said.

``I think I've just got used to it. There's nothing you can do, you've just got to take it.''

He has also learned to accept when the media twisted his words. McFadden said he was often quoted out of context in interviews.

``All the time whenever you say something they take a bit of it and use it to say what they want.

``No matter what you say or how you say it can be used against you.''

Brian's Had Such A Hard Time But We're So Proud Of Him

Panto star Susan McFadden has blasted those who have criticised her brother Brian since his acrimonious split with controversial mum-of-four, Kerry Katona.

The glam blonde, on the Tubridy radio show yesterday, has hit out at people who continue to harass her brother for details of his relationship with the former Atomic Kitten star.

A defensive Susan told Ryan that her heart was bursting with pride for her brother and that it's ridiculous that people still continue to slate him in the media.

"I think he's had a hard time and it was unfair, but finally now it's settled

Cares

"To be honest, I don't think he cares what's said any more and that's the main thing.

"My heart is bursting with pride for him, he's my brother and I'm very proud of him.

"Now his life has finally settled down, he's got a beautiful woman, he lives in Australia and he's very happy, so I think, at the end of the day, he doesn't care, and that's what's important," she added.

And the Artane babe also defended her mum's actions when it comes to looking out for her beloved son's reputation. "My mum's always on Joe Duffy's show defending him, I think she's a regular," Susan said.

"She could let it go away, and she has done and usually does, but sometimes it's hard if you have a son and people are dissing him.

"She's only a red-blooded woman at the end of the day and she's going to defend her son.

"They ring her and say there's people saying this and do you want to come on and she's like, 'Yes, I'll be on', not the other way around," she added.

Susan also revealed how Brian and his Australian fiance, Delta Goodrem, are deliriously happy in love.

"They're sick, they're so in love.

"They're very happy though. We do still see Molly and Lily-Sue, they're seven and five and they're just great.

Before adding: "We don't see Kerry, no, that's another day's work."

And a loved-up Susan revealed that, despite being in Dublin for the past few weeks, she will be flying back to her home in England for Christmas day in order to spend the day with her boyfriend.

"My mum is ok, I'm here for the whole run up to it and after, all we do on Christmas is just watch the telly anyway. I'm flying out on Christmas Eve and back on Stephen's morning because I've got two shows on Stephen's day.

"Brian's in Australia this year and then next year we'll all be there."

Brian McFadden, now with Delta Goodrem, bins ex's clothes

BRIAN McFadden has revealed he binned all his memories of his ex, Kerry Katona, now he's with Delta Goodrem, by giving her designer clothes away to his Irish rellies.

McFadden, engaged to singer Delta Goodrem, let slip some of the details of his split with Katona, a former pop singer who has become a walking train wreck in Britain.

"I invited all my sisters' friends and all my cousins around to the house and literally opened up the wardrobe and said, 'Have what you like'," McFadden told listeners on Fox FM's Summer Breakfast Show yesterday.

"All my cousins, they live down in the country in Ireland so they live on farms and stuff, are all walking around small villages in Dolce & Gabbana dresses and Gucci shoes, and the like.

"She (Katona) did not know, but she knows now."

McFadden has been co-hosting the breakfast shift alongside Ricki-Lee Coulter and Mike Goldman.

In a morning of revelations, Coulter revealed ex-husband Jamie Babbington, who she separated from in October, had already found a new girlfriend.

Molly & Lilly To Spend Christmas In Australia With Brian?

Kerry Katona “very upset” about kids spending Christmas with Brian McFadden

Kerry Katona will reportedly be spending Christmas without her two oldest daughters after ex-husband Brian McFadden insisted they spend the holidays with him in Australia instead.

A source told Heat magazine that Brian’s demands to spend Christmas with his daughters is another sign the custody dispute may turn bitter: “Brian just called and asked for the girls over Christmas, but it’s really upset Kerry. She panicked and is very tearful at the moment.

“Kerry was looking forward to time alone with her girls this Christmas and she feels like Brian’s doing this on purpose.

Delta Goodrem & Brian McFadden To Sing Together On Ttour

FOR their sake, let's hope they can break the curse of the singing lovebirds. Romantic bliss has famously eluded such crooning duos as Ike and Tina, Sonny and Cher, Peter and Liza, Kylie and Jason.

Now Delta Goodrem and her Irish fiance Brian McFadden have announced they will hit the stage together when the lovers team up for her Believe Again national tour in January.

Goodrem is billing beau McFadden as her "special guest" rather than her "support act".

It will be Goodrem's first national tour in more than three years. She has been concentrating on cracking the US market.

Since leaving the group Westlife, father-of-two McFadden has achieved success with his solo album Set in Stone featuring hits such as Like Only a Woman Can and Twisted.

"I'm very much looking forward to the tour with Delta. Performing is what we love to do and being on the road and touring together makes it even more special," said McFadden.

Brian McFadden In Star City's Big Game Poker Championship

Aces high ... Musician and Delta Goodrem's partner, Brian McFadden, at Star City yesterday.

HE only landed in Sydney from Ireland at 9am yesterday but in hours Brian McFadden was at a poker table chasing a $1 million cash prize.

Turns out the musician and partner of Delta Goodrem has been quite the card fiend for a while, yesterday playing Star City's Big Game Poker Championship which runs until Sunday.

"This is a big tournament, kind of the equivalent of a Sydney or Australian Open in golf," the ridiculously fresh-looking McFadden said after flying around the world.

"I've been playing for years, and you can definitely win some good money - but it's not all skill because so much luck is involved."

But McFadden clearly has some cut-throat skills - he won 200,000 euros in an Irish tournament a couple of years ago and has cleaned up elsewhere.

Turns out his Delta, who arrived with him from Ireland where they visited his family for 10 days, can also turn a card trick or two.

"Delta is a very good poker player but she never bothers playing the big tournaments," he said.

"She's an actress - I just said what you do babe is whenever you have a good hand look like you've got a bad hand, and when you have a bad hand act as if you've got a good one.

"She put that into motion."

The new life of Brian

Brian McFadden will return to play two shows in Tasmania this month

BACK in July, Irish musician Brian McFadden made an appearance on ABC1's music trivia comedy Spicks and Specks.

It wasn't his first time on the show, but for the many Australians tuned in, his tongue-in-cheek treatment of Guns N' Roses' Patience was significant.

The Irish boy-band superstar, who quit Westlife in 2004, flexed his sense of humour and further endeared himself to a country's people who tend not to pander to musicians who take themselves too seriously.

"That was just a bit of fun. We had a laugh," McFadden recalled before going on to explain the welcome embrace of Australians.

"It's been amazing. It makes you really feel at home you know, especially after the treatment I got in England with the press."

Delta Goodrem & Brian McFadden Plan 2009 Wedding

Australian singer and actress Delta Goodrem has opened up about her current wedding planning for her upcoming marriage to former Westlife member Brian McFadden.

The 24-year-old beauty is set to tie the knot with the 28-year-old Irish singer in Sydney late next year.

"It's going, it's on its way. We're looking forward to it, we're looking forward to getting married now. We're just trying to organise it at the moment," she revealed at a recent New York event.

Delta and Brian have been together since 2004, when they started a relationship after working together on hit single Almost Here. The couple announced their engagement in November last year.

Brian was previously married to former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona for two years before the couple separated. They have two daughters together, seven-year-old Molly and five-year-old Lilly-Sue.

Prior to meeting her future husband, former Neighbours star Delta dated Australian tennis player Mark Philippoussis.

Delta Goodrem Plans Brian Wedding

Delta Goodrem has spoken out about her forthcoming marriage to Brian McFadden.

"It's going, it's on its way. We're looking forward to it, we're looking forward to getting married now," she revealed at the An Enduring Vision gala in New York.

"We're just trying to organise it at the moment."

After three years of dating, the former Westlife singer decided to pop the question to the Australian beauty, and the couple are reportedly expected to walk up the aisle in Sydney in late 2009.

In the meantime, Delta is trying to kick off her music career in the US with the release of her latest album, Delta, and has been spending a lot of time in New York.

"I've been embracing New York recently," she continued. "I did all the tourist things you can imagine, even though I've always spent time here with the music. I went to the Rockefeller Centre for ice-skating, I went to the zoo the other day for my birthday and I went to the Tavern on the Green for dinner, so I've been embracing the life here."

She admitted that the frenetic pace of life in the Big Apple was addictive.

"The energy is fascinating," added the 24-year-old. "I love how you can do so much in one night. I could come here for half an hour, then go somewhere and have a hot chocolate there for half an hour. You can do everything in the space of an hour, and people are OK with it. There's no hanging around, I love it."

The exciting life of Brian

HE missed his scheduled ping-pong appointment, but Irish pop star Brian McFadden, left, made it to Adelaide in time to hang out with the kids at the Women's and Children's Hospital yesterday.

The star's in town to play at tonight's Bone Growth Foundation Celebrity Tennis Challenge at the Entertainment Centre.

"They were asking me all these questions about what it's like to be in the music industry, the marketing and the publishing . . . when I was an adolescent I would have just asked what it's like to be famous," Brian says.

Brian's a veteran of the fame game, coming to prominence at age 17 as a member of Irish boy band Westlife, and ramping up his paparazzi attraction by getting engaged to songtress Delta Goodrem. For those on wedding watch, the pair still haven't set a date. But Delta won't be appearing as Brian's doubles partner, as she's busy in New York. Rather, Brian will be pairing up with recently retired tennis ace Alicia Molik.

Meanwhile, Brian will be testing out his newly healed finger - he broke it celebrating the AFL grand final - which he says gives him grief as he's playing guitar.

And he'll be taking to the stage after the tennis, performing his new single Everything But You. Tickets for the tennis challenge are available at the Entertainment Centre, open from 5pm.
